A long, full day of walking and tea and gondolas. My main wish, besides seeing Catherine and eating yummy food, was to go on the gondolas while here in Taiwan. The line for the gondola wasn't too long thank goodness. We stopped by the temples not knowing that it would be a hike to and from each location. Our legs were falling off by the time we were walking back to the gondola. We went to the top of the mountain which houses some tea plantations. We went to Redwooden, a nice tea house that also serves food and waffles. We ordered the grapefruit green tea and the grapefruit orange lime tea, both of which were really delicious. We also had the strawberry honey ice cream waffles. I really enjoyed the restaurant as they had good food and excellent service. I would recommend you go there if you find yourself in Taiwan & planning on a gondola trip. We ended the night with some noodles and mango shave snow. Yum!
