139 Boy Bait

I made this the other day and my, oh my, was it a sight to behold. Firstly, I did not follow the recipe because I used granulated sugar (not light brown sugar) within the batter, I didn't have cinnamon, and I didn't alternate between dry mixture and buttermilk when making the final batter. All in all, I would still count this boy bait as a success because I haven't baked in so long. I miss sweet, buttery goodness in my mouth. I must now pawn all of these off before I do something I will regret.
