107. Conceal, Don't feel.

On days when I only have 10 minutes to get ready, I make sure to fill in my brows and slap on some sunscreen. Since my eyebrow kit is close to running on empty, I decided to pick up some goodies at Sephora. Some concealer for the face and a brow wiz for the brows. Simplicity is key.

Spending the weekend at home with my family has made me realize this fact. My sisters and I went out to the mall to do some shopping in celebration of my younger sister's 17th?!?!?! birthday. I found myself surprised at my self-restraint. I only bought a couple of things at each store when I would normally buy 5-6 pieces. Maybe it's me growing up, maybe it's me being more careful about how I spend my money, or maybe it's me being more picky. All the matters is that I was able to spend some quality time with my sisters and my parents. Although my parents nag and nag, I know that they do it out of love. I can't help but challenge their words though. I need to learn to bite my tongue.
