My friend and roommate, Lilly, was gifted a gel manicure set. Having never experienced the joy of receiving a gel manicure, I was really curious to see whether it would really last 2-3 weeks. I generally paint my nails every weekend as a form of therapy/self-care and as a preventative measure to nail biting. I really enjoy painting my nails and picking out a polish with which to sport for the next week (this past week's color was Essie's Bangle Jangle, one of my favorite shades). I'm a fan of pinks, pastels, and deep reds. Although I do enjoy doing my own nails, I also really like the fact that there is no wait for my nails to dry with gel manicures. I'm looking forward to staring at my nails for the next couple of weeks.
