This weekend has been a really good reminder to stop worrying about deadlines and assignments and just go with the flow. Lilly and I went to campus on a Sunday afternoon to take some graduation pictures of me in a cap and gown. I was thinking of printing and framing a couple of the pictures as Christmas presents for my parents. As we were taking pictures and figuring out the different poses and angles we can use, people kept staring at us as they walked by. I could have felt some embarrassment and immediately turn shy and self-conscious but I remembered that the purpose of these pictures is to celebrate my successes. There is no need to feel shy or self-conscious about that!
