I hope you know things about computers and cars and the like because I am almost useless when it comes to learning about moving parts.
I hope you enjoy picnics and beaches and hikes and adventures.
I hope you get along well with your parents and siblings.
I hope that you like breakfast and brunch and baked goods because I need someone to eat the shit I make when I'm procrastinating.
I hope that you like to play music while you clean and study and bake because I wouldn't want you to be annoyed that I do that.
I hope you followed your passions and dreams and aren't miserable at your job (like I am right now).
I hope that you like to just sit in a room and not talk because noise is too loud sometimes.
I hope that you don't mind that I like to do things by candlelight because lights hurt my eyes.
I hope you don't mind me always checking my phone - for nothing really.
I hope that you're okay with my messy personality and habits like throwing clothes on my chair/bed and not putting them away until necessary.
I hope you're okay with a sink full of dishes that will either be washed before bed or first thing in the morning. Most of all, I hope that we have a dog together.

17. My goodies, oh no not my goodies.

I have been asked to compile a list of things I want for my birthday (that is 3 months away) in order for my housemates to avoid buying me something that someone else will get me. I don't really have a set list but these are the things that have been plaguing my mind for the past few weeks - months. I categorized them because I'm weird.

I really want some new reading material. After visiting LACMA, I've been really interested in Robert Adams so a few books from him would be nice. And a subscription to SURFACE Magazine would be splendid because gah, that mag is gorgeous. And of course, the Smitten Kitchen cookbook. Where would I be without Deb's recipes (i.e. apple cake, spaghetti, and cookies).

I've been wanting some new accessories for my camera. A 50mm 1.8 lens (the most inexpensive canon dslr lens, tbh) to practice taking decent pictures. A tripod because my hands are so unsteady and shaky. A classic ipod because my phone only holds 8gb of stuff and music only takes up 4gb. It would be nice to have all the music I own on one ipod so I can listen to Best Coast or Kanye whenever I want without wiping a different album from my iphone.

Above are some things I want from ASOS, aka trendy pieces. I've been wanting some white platforms for a bitty and the ones above are nice. The shorts would be perfect for the summer. To go along with my white platforms, some white sunnies would be nice to shield the northern california sun!

Yen Needs: Sandals

If I had a cool $200 to spare, I would put some aside to purchase these sandals but alas, I do not have such money. I think they're the perfect sandal. They can be worn in any season and with any outfit because they're really versatile. I feel like I'm trying to convince myself to buy these, sigh. If any of you have some money laying around and you want to buy me something nice that I'll treasure for always, please considering buying these here.
